What is IEEE 1101.11?
IEEE 1101.11 is a mechanical standard for rear transition
modules. CompactPCI and VME64X adopted this specification.
It defines a rear card cage, per IEEE 1101.10, and dimensions for rear
transition modules. These modules are 3U or 6U in height
by 80 mm deep. (Six depths are permitted, but 80 mm is most common.)
